At Anglo Asian Mining, ensuring a safe work environment for all employees and contractors is paramount, especially given the high-risk nature of mining operations. Our goal is to achieve zero harm across all our operations.

-
Continuous enhancement
We strive to continually enhance safety performance across the Group.
-
Incident investigation and prevention
Our Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) department diligently investigates all accidents and near-misses, implementing action plans to prevent recurrence.
-
Training and medical checks
We regularly train our employees on HSET policies and potential hazards at all sites, and all site workers undergo regular medical checks.
-
Safety culture
We actively promote a culture that is highly “safety conscious” through strengthening our HSE department and conducting regular safety reviews. The effectiveness of this culture is monitored directly by the HSET committee and indirectly through the number of reported safety incidents.

Performance monitoring
In 2024, the Group recorded 7 Lost Time Incidents (LTIs) among employees, resulting in a Lost Time Injury Frequency Rate (LTIFR) of 5.15, a reduction from 9.78 in 2023. This improvement is attributed to enhancements in the incident reporting system, improved underground working conditions, and better repair and maintenance work.
