The Company produced 16,760 gold equivalent ounces in the year ended 31 December 2024.
The Company is executing a well-defined strategy to grow production and transition to a mid-tier producer with a production portfolio dominated by copper. In 2025, Anglo Asian delivered its strategic target of becoming a multi-asset producer, with the new Gilar underground copper and gold mine at Gedabek starting production in May 2025 and Demirli, a significant copper asset, commencing production in July 2025
The Company has an exciting portfolio of greenfield assets which lay the foundation for substantial future growth of the business. Zafar, Xarxar and Garadag all host significant ore deposits. The Company is developing these opportunities at pace with JORC mineral resources now published for all its significant mineral deposits. These mineral deposits contain total JORC mineral resources (measured, indicated and inferred) of over one million tonnes of copper and 328,000 ounces of gold.

Journey highlights
Foundations of growth
Our journey began with the landmark Production Sharing Agreement in 1997, leading to the launch of gold production at Gedabek in 2009 and copper production soon after.
Operational expansion
Between 2013 and 2015, we advanced with new plants and the Gadir underground mine, laying the groundwork for long-term multi-asset production.
Strategic discoveries
The discovery of Zafar in 2021 and acquisition of three new contract areas in 2022 strengthened our resource base and future growth pipeline.
A new chapter
From the restart of processing in 2023 to the commissioning of Gilar and Demirli in 2025, we are entering a new era of sustainable, copper-focused production.
